Learn Danish Vocabulary
So does Rosetta Stone really work?
I keep hearing and seeing a lot of videos on YouTube about the Rosetta Stone, and it looks great, but it is just way too pricey. I don’t want to gamble the money I’ve been saving up for almost a year, plus it just looks like the LiveMocha website but with a big price tag attached to it.
My question is, is this program any good? Has anyone tried it before or know some better alternatives? I want to learn Danish and pronunciation is very important and very tricky, so if I have to pay $500+ just so I can learn a little bit of the written vocabulary, then why bother.
I hear audio programs like Pimsleur are really good, but I am a very visual learner, so I don’t know how that will work out for me.
If it helps at all, I am 12 years old.

LiveMocha is not available in Danish :/
Hey, I haven’t personally tried the program RS but i have a friend who used it to learn french. And well to be honest she did learn a lot especially with the pronunciation and it was easy because, she could link images with words due to it being extremely Interactive.
However I recently joined LiveMocha and it seems similar in many ways so i suggest you either try another website or audio tapes/CD’s or even better find a danish friend. In my opinion Rosetta stone is too expensive for something like LiveMocha which you could get for free.
